How to get life insurance if you have medical problems?!

Before applying

Document all your medical behaviors You should familiarize yourself with family life insurance quotes online. In the last decade by writing down names, addresses, and phone numbers of all the medical professionals, clinics, hospitals, and agencies you have used in the past. If you are currently under any treatment or medication list all the medicines you take, their dosage, and frequent of use (for example: AVANDIA 4mg 2 times daily). Try to list all injuries you had (as an adult) with their approximate dates in an ascending order. Eliminate injuries that you are fully recovered from. Life insurance agent will look interestingly to your positive behaviors so try to summarize all your major positive behaviors (for example: never smoked, quit smoking in 1990, jugging every day, swimming half an hour every day in a swimming pool, or maybe you are a vegetarian since 5 years ). Remember don’t exaggerate or lie, Stick to facts. Organize all this information in a folder and make at least one photocopy just in case insurance company asked for one.

While applying

If your own insurance agent has a knowledge placing “impaired-risk” cases then use him otherwise seek a new insurance professional with special experience in placing “impaired-risk” cases. For aggressive underwriters companies make at least two formal applications. Don’t exaggerate in the amount of death benefit; only apply for that your beneficiary(ies) actually need. Personally speaking, I like to consult a trusted financial professional about that. Don’t feel annoyed if they asked you to take any medical tests, just agree to take them all (make sure if they will be covered by the insurance company). Try to take them as soon as you finish filling out the application forms.

After getting the response

Ask your agent to provide a hard copy of all documents of any offers that result. If you were declined or rated, request a letter of explanation from that company. Simply choose the offer that gives you the most insurance coverage and policy guarantees for the least cost. Regardless of the offers, have the insurance company send the results of all exams, tests, and lab work to your doctor for your files.
